Should have been Chris Daughtry!

Okay, so the TV season is officially over. And Wednesday was a great night of television. Between the Lost and American Idol finales. And I will admit Idol was so cheesy but so much to watch. All the duets were great, loved the Prince surprise. And it was great to see and especially hear Clay Aiken but what did he do to his hair!! Totally whacked out! But it should have been Chris up there. I thought Taylor did a great job in the finale compared to Kat. But him and his crazy dance moves. I'll definitely be following Chris Daughtry's career. He really is the best one.

Then there was the Lost finale. And so much happened that I can't even remember it all. But at the end, Desmond's girlfriend had those guys looking for the island. And her dad aka Caleb Nichol is so involved in all of this. But what I want to know if if the Others are GOOD, and they consider Jack, Kate and Sawyer bad then why do they want them. And why get rid of Walt. What couldn't they handle about him? And I know Kate and Sawyer have killed so they could be deemed bad, but what about Jack. Or do they want the rest of the survivors to be without a leader.

And on a sad note, our friend Tonya is moving to Appleton, Wisconsin tomorrow. She will be missed. But like Ken says, it's not goodbye, it's see you soon!

And I'm off to the airport to go to Ohio in a little bit, barring these thunderstorms. Going to visit the family for the long weekend. It's my nephew Ellis's 4th birthday! Boy how time flies!

Goodbye to Alias!

Omg, I am still wiping away the tears. I got so emotional watching the 2 hour series finale of Alias tonight. There were happy moments, there were sad moments. Too much to even discuss here. But I can not believe it's over. It was really my favorite show of all time. And TV won't be the same without Sydney Bristow and Michael Vaughn. It was a wonderful swan song.. but I can't belive that's it? Maybe a movie someday? One never knows I guess....

First Denny, now Elliott??

Okay, we lost Denny on Monday night. Yes, I am talking about the Grey's Anatomy season finale. It was sooo good. Boy did I love it being on two night in a row. But I loved Izzie and Denny. I know she was crazy to try to steal that heart for him. But I am such a romantic sap. I totally fell for them. And he died. So sad.

And now I feel Elliott might be leaving Idol tonight. The final three so should have been Taylor, Chris and Elliott. But I feel Kat might beat Elliot by a smidge. I tried calling for Elliot, but couldn't get through! Here's hoping for a shocker, even though it looks like Taylor has it sewn up? Why! Maybe this will get him to dye his hair! Not.

And it's upfronts week, the new tv schedules. And they have moved my Grey's Anatomy and canceled Everwood. WHY!!! You TV idiots. And you bring back 7th Heaven crap! At least Veronica will be back. Oh well. You can't win them all.

Holy TV Batman!

Can I see an emmy nod for Katherine Heigl please. For those not in the know that is Izzie on Grey's Anatomy. Both her and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Wow what great scenes! And then the ending. OMG. Incredible. So happy two more hours tonight. And then the finale of Prison Break as well. Damn Bush of course has to make a stupid ass speeach and delay it! ARGH!

So I went to Dagostinos on York and 80th yesterday. And there was this crazy weird guy walking around like Dustin Hoffman in Rainman going, "Let's go yankees", over and over and over again. It was so weird.

On saturday night, attended the fond farewell gathering at Dusk for friend Tonya who is departing for Appleton, Wisconsin. She will be missed! :(

7th HEAVEN HELL!

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!

According to Mediaweek (see below), 7th Heaven is coming back for a 13th season.

My sources at the CW tell me this would only happen if they were "desperate," so I'm guessing their pilots didn't turn out as well as expected.

I'm also told regarding Veronica Mars that A) Dawn Ostroff is "the only one who wants it to come back and is fighting hard for it" but B) Kristen Bell tells me she's going to New York next week for the upfronts ... So ... I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE that Veronica Mars WILL come back!

If 7th Heaven returns and not VM, I might DIE.


Mediaweek says: 7th Heaven, the longest-running family drama in television history, in a surprising move, will return for its 11th season on the new CW network this
fall. Mediaweek has learned that a deal has been reached to bring the show back for at least 13 episodes. CW officials refused comment.

Okay, Seriously this is ridiculous! Who is running this network.. As for my week, it's been pretty suck. I stayed home from work on both tuesday and thursday with a horrible stomach bug. I'm hoping it's finally gone today.. Tonya's going away party tomorrow night, which will be sad, but fun to hang out with everyone.

Alias was so good this week! Vaughn returns! And kicked ass with Fake Syd! Only 3 hours of Alias left! :(

Mandy's A Mommy!

Congrats Mandy! My bud Mandy had her baby yesterday. And I chatted with her on the phone today. And she has a little girl named Ruby Katherine! Mandy's a mommy! I am so happy for her.

On a crazier note, I saw Whacko Tom in Mission Impossible: 3 on friday night. And you know what, it was my favorite one of all three. Let's just hope there was no subliminal scientology messages going on throughout the film. I'm still feeling okay.. but L Ron is the best ever right?

The beautiful weekend continued with a sunny afternoon at Shea on Saturday. Leslie and I had a blast. And it was great game. Mets kicked butt again. But lost it on Sunday. Oh well. And on Sunday I went to my first of many NYC street festivals. I had a chocolate crepe and fried oreo. Omg, these street festivals are going to be the death of me this summer.

And guess what, remember my where the fuck are my keys post. Well I fucking found them last night. I'm such an ass. I have big stacks of the gossip mags on my bookshelves since im like 6 months behind. And I was rearranging them last night and they somehow were in the middle of a big stack! And I remember now when Ken stayed over that night we were messing with my stacks of mags! ARGH!

Whacko Tom

Okay, I admit it. I have always been a Tom Cruise fan. But lately he is just a whackjob. And because of this a lot of people won't see his movies. But not me, I still enjoy his flicks as long as he doesnt get all scientology in them. So I am off to MI3 tonight with a few peeps from work. I'll let you know how it is.

On a fabulous new front: My former digest pal Mandy had started contractions and will most likely have the baby this weekend! I can't wait!! Mandy is the going to be a fabu mommy!

1. My roommate once: Okay, I live alone now. But one of my former roomies once smoked pot for the first time and then found out the next day she needed to do a pot test for her upcoming summer job.

San Fran Rocked!

Well I got back from my 4 day trip to San Francisco on Monday night. And it was just fab. From the moment arrived on friday afternoon until I departed on monday morning. There was non stop food, drink and fun filled activities and it was a blast. But boy was I exhausted. We were out at 8am every day and not back till 10. Did lots of hiking through the hills of the bay area, went to the san fran farmer's market and fisherman's wharf, rode in a seaplane above the city, saw the muir woods, I could go on and on. But boy was I wiped. It's nice to have the late shift at work today and tomorrow to get over the jetlag.

And tonight's tv.. oh soo good. Bye Bye Paris on American Idol. It was here time to go. But Taylor needs to be next! I want the final 3 to be Kat, Elliott and Chris. Chris must win! And Alias was like the good ol days. But I need some more Vaughn. At lease he is back next week for the last 4 eps!!!!
