December already?

Another month, bye bye. How was Turkey Day almost a week ago already. But I had a nice one. Mom came in last Wednesday. We spent Thanksgiving at my aunt's house in New Jersey. And then spent the night at grandma's. Heading back to the city on Friday. Saw Bobby with Ken on Saturday night. Worked for a little bit on Sunday. Then mom left on Monday. The short summary of our weekend, because it was a busy one. Yesterday, I had the day off. I took advantage of that and tried to do a lot of TIVO catchup. Between the past two weekends, first my trip to the Bahamas and then my mom's visit, tivo was overloaded!

Turkey Time!

Wow, can you believe tomorrow is Thanksgiving already! Where did this year go. I got back from the Bahamas on Sunday night and snap your fingers and Thanksgiving weekend in here. Mom is currently as we speak on route to the NYC and then tomorrow morning, we will head over to Jersey for turkey and all the trimmings at my aunt's house. Then mom and me will have the whole weekend to hang out here in the city.

I'm back!

I'm back from the Atlantis in the Bahamas and I had a fabulous time! It was most cloudy most of the time. But still nice and warm and the Atlantis is just gorgeous. Incredible food, drinks and we even went snorkeling with sharks! I did snorkeling but not the area with the sharks. More to come later!

Sunny Days!

Bermuda, Bahamas, come on pretty momma! I am off at 5am tomorrow morning to Nassau Bahamas to stay the Atlantis Paradise resort. Four days of fun in the sun! Yay! Lots of fun ahead, as long as I stay away from those stingrays. See you on the flipside!

Dancing on the Ceiling

Wow I haven't posted since the big Britney breakup news last Tuesday. Of course, there have been lots of developments on that end. Kevin is now wanting full custody of the kids. You have got to be freaking kidding me. This white trash guy just wants to take her for all she's worth. Ain't happening buddy.

And then I had been holding off on blogging all week, because I wanted to write about the Lionel Richie concert I attended last Wednesday with Karen. I took cool video footage of Hello, Dancing on the Ceiling and Brick House. But I can't figure out how to upload the damn videos. Damn! But the concert was a lot of fun, even though we were sitting way up and stupid people kept getting up and blocking our view. But it really just brought you back when you saw Lionel come out and start playing Hello.

Then the weekend flew by. I worked late on Thursday, so I crashed Friday night. Went out with Ken on Saturday night and we saw Joshua Jackson in Chelsea. How random to see Pacey out and about. LOL. Yesterday was my day of beauty, got my hair highlighted and cut and then got a pedicure as I'm off to the Bahamas on Thursday. Ahhh so relaxing.

It's About Time!

She finally did it. Eureka. K-Fed is gone. And now we are all ready for Britney's comeback. YAHOO!

Britney Spears filed for divorce Tuesday from Kevin Federline, officials said. The Los Angeles County Superior Court filing cites "irreconcilable differences," said court spokeswoman Kathy Roberts.

Spears, 24, married rapper Kevin Federline, 28, in 2004. They have a 1-year-old son, Sean Preston, and an infant son who was born Sept. 12. The divorce papers identify the baby as Jayden James Federline.

A message left with Spears' attorney, Laura Wasser, was not immediately returned.

Spears married Federline eight months after ending a 55-hour Las Vegas marriage to her childhood friend,
Jason Alexander. Her second marriage has provided endless fodder for tabloids, which have speculated frequently that the union was in trouble.

Calls left for Federline's representatives also were not immediately returned.

The filing comes just a day after Spears, back in shape after the birth of her second child, made a surprise appearance on David Letterman's "Late Show" in New York by popping up behind him as he was sitting at his desk.

Federline appeared in the movie "You Got Served" and performed as a backup dancer for singer Justin Timberlake, Spears' former boyfriend. He was previously involved with actress
Shar Jackson of TV's "Moesha." Federline and Jackson have two children.

NYC Marathon

This is so cool. Until Friday, I had no idea it came down First Avenue right past my building. How cool is this. It's been going past me all day. And I saw Lance Armstrong come by! Check it out! He's in the green shirt!

Hello, November!

Wow, it is almost 70 degrees today and it is November 1st. Now is this Global Warming or what. It makes me think, if it's this warm today, what will our winter be like, good or bad? But it will shock us by the weekend when it gets down into the 40s.

I just can't believe it's November already. I've been living in the city 8 months already. Isn't that crazy. And I just love it. I'm such a NYC girl! I moved to the city in March, so my first Manhattan winter should be interesting. Here's hoping for not too many blistering winds! And Thanksgiving is three weeks from tomorrow already. I just love the Holiday season and Mom is coming in for Thanksgiving weekend. YAY!
