I'm A Blogger Slacker

Wow it's been two weeks since my last post. Where have I been. Well I was off of work from Dec 20th-27th, so what did I do. Spent the week in Ohio with my family. And it was nice to spend time with them. But a week is too damn long in Ohio. 4 days is the max! All I can really do there is hang out with the fam.. so I just hung with Ellis, saw movies with mom and relaxed.

As for movies, in the past two weeks, I saw five movies! King Kong, Walk the Line, The Family Stone, Memoirs of A Geisha and The Producers. I loved Walk the Line. That was my fave of the bunch. I'm not a big country music fan, but those performances by Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon, wow. I also loved Geisha, it was so breathtakingly beautiful. King Kong also exceeded what I was thinking going in. It was long, but I really enjoyed it. I liked Family Stone, but nothing spectacular and The Producers, was just Eh....

And New Year's Eve is on Saturday. I can't believe it. But I can't wait. What I hope for 2006:

- meeting my great love
- moving to the city
- and having great times with my friends
and everyone to be healthy and happy!

PARTY CRAZINESS

I just realized I never blogged about my spankin holiday party that I had on Saturday night. And to think I was coming onto the blog now since we've had nothing to do at work all day, so I was gonn write about last night's super fun office christmas party. Lots of Karaoke and drinks all around and now everyone is feeling it today.

It's been a karaoke party week. I lots of friends over to my apartment on Saturday night for holiday treats and karaoke. And it was so much fun. We got everyone singing and had a so much fun. I need a break this weekend. I just want to do nothing tomorrow night. And then on saturday night, it is christmas exchange time with Ken and Erica. And I think we're seeing King Kong too. Only two more days of work till our weeklong vacation, which I'll be spending with the fam in Ohio. No Snow PLease!

UGH, Snow!

EW, I am hating the weather outside today. It is so snowy. When I first left Hoboken, it was nice and snowy.. Not a great thing, but not horrible. But I when I got into Manhattan, it was a slushy mess! Every corner was like an obstacle course of humongous puddles. The 4 blocks from the Bus were taking forever. And now I'm all drenched. I will not leave the office again unti I need to.

But alas, all is good. TGIF! And tomorrow is my holiday party at my party. We are going to Karaoke-it Big Time!

Winter Has Arrived!

So last night was our first snow and I missed it. It must have been early this morning. Since I came home just before 2am last night and no snow. But then today at Noon, I woke up to the sounds of a shovel on the sidewalk outside. Now that was the official sound of winter being here. Then I just went to the A&P, and the sidewalks were all slushy!! I enjoy the first snow like the rest of 'em.. but I'm sure I'll be wishing for my tank tops and sandals, back very soon. Well at least I have a week's vacation in DisneyWorld in the first week of February to look forward to. It's only two months away. Actually two months from today I leave for Florida. YAY!

Karen had a holiday-riffic Chrismukkah party last night. It was so fun, and I loved finally seeing Karen's apartment. It's awesome. And such a great space! Now just 6 days until my Chrismukkah party on Saturday night! Can't wait! But knowing our luck, it will snow, since the two parties we had last year, it either rained or snowed.

Two weeks till Christmas vacation! :)
